Terms of Service. The rules for using Vision.
Last updated: 3 November 2026
1. Who we are
Vision is a desktop app for macOS, with a marketing website at heyvision.app and an account website at dashboard.heyvision.app (together, the "Service"). Vision is a product of Techsolace (techsolace.in), run by an individual founder based in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean Techsolace. "You" means the person using the Service.
By creating an account, subscribing, or using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
2. Your account
You need an account to use Vision. You must be at least 13 years old, or 16 where the law in your country requires it. You are responsible for keeping access to your email address secure, because we use it to sign you in. Tell us at [email protected] if you think someone else has accessed your account.
3. Subscriptions and billing
Every new account gets a 12-day free trial, starting when the account is created. No card is needed and nothing is charged when it ends; after the trial you need a subscription to keep using Vision. Vision is sold as a subscription. The current plans, in US dollars, are:
- Monthly: $5 per month.
- Yearly: $50 per year.
Founding price: if you start a yearly subscription before 15 December 2026, 23:59 UTC, you pay $36 per year instead of $50, for as long as that subscription stays active. If it ends (for example because you cancel or a renewal payment fails) and you subscribe again later, the price at that time applies. In India, the plans are ₹199 per month or ₹1,999 per year.
Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, which acts as the Merchant of Record. That means Dodo Payments is the seller of record for your purchase. It collects your payment and handles sales tax, VAT or GST where they apply. Your card details go to the payment provider, never to us. Dodo Payments' own terms also apply to the payment.
Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. You can cancel anytime. When you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for, and you won't be charged again.
Your first payment for a subscription has a 7-day money-back guarantee: ask within 7 days of that charge and we refund it in full. Renewals are not refunded, so cancel before a renewal if you don't want it. Billing errors are always refunded. The details are in our Refund Policy.
EU and UK consumers also keep their legal 14-day right to withdraw from a digital purchase, unless at checkout they expressly agreed to immediate access and acknowledged that they lose that right; our 7-day guarantee is in addition to that right and never replaces it.
4. Price changes
We may change our prices. We will tell you before a new price applies to you. A price change never affects a period you have already paid for. If you are on the yearly plan, your price stays locked for that whole year, and the founding price stays locked for as long as that subscription stays active. The new price applies from your next renewal, and you can cancel before then if you don't want to continue.
5. Your licence
While your subscription is active, we give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use Vision on Macs that you own or control, for your own use. You can't share, sell, rent, sublicense or transfer your licence or account to anyone else.
We own Vision, including its software, design and brand. These terms don't give you any rights to them other than the licence above.
6. Acceptable use
When you use the Service, you agree not to:
- reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble Vision, except where the law allows it despite this term;
- bypass or tamper with licensing, sign-in or subscription checks;
- resell, redistribute or share Vision or access to your account;
- misuse the AI features, for example to create harmful content or to break an AI provider's rules;
- use the Service for anything illegal, or to harm, harass or deceive others;
- disrupt, overload or attack our servers or websites.
7. AI features and your own keys
Vision's AI features work with your own OpenAI, Anthropic or Google Gemini API key, or your Claude Code login. Your keys are stored in the macOS Keychain on your Mac. Your prompts go directly from your Mac to the provider you choose, not through our servers.
You are responsible for your keys, your account with each provider, and any costs they charge you. Each provider's own terms and privacy policy apply to what you send them. AI output can be wrong, so check anything important before you rely on it.
8. Features, betas and changes
We keep improving Vision. We may add, change or remove features. Some features are marked as beta or "coming soon". They may change, be delayed or be dropped, and they may not work perfectly. Please don't subscribe only for a feature that hasn't shipped yet.
9. Your content and feedback
Your clipboard history, settings and app data stay on your Mac. They belong to you. If you send us feedback, with or without a screenshot, you allow us to use it to improve Vision. How we handle personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy.
10. No warranty
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no promises that it will be error-free, uninterrupted or fit for a particular purpose. Keep backups of anything important.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, lost data or business interruption. Our total liability to you for any claim about the Service is limited to the fees you paid for Vision in the 12 months before the claim arose.
Nothing in these terms limits any liability that can't be limited by law, or any rights you have under consumer protection laws that apply to you.
12. Ending your use
You can stop using Vision and cancel your subscription anytime. You can also ask us to delete your account.
We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms. Where it is reasonable, we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When we do, we change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If a change is significant, we will also tell you by email or in the app. If you keep using the Service after a change takes effect, you accept the updated terms.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts of Jaipur, Rajasthan, India have jurisdiction over any dispute about them. This doesn't take away any right you have to bring a claim in your own country under its consumer protection laws.
