Privacy Policy. What we collect, and what stays on your Mac.

1. Who we are

Vision is a macOS app with a marketing website at heyvision.app and an account website at dashboard.heyvision.app. It is a product of Techsolace (techsolace.in), run by an individual founder based in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. Techsolace is responsible for the personal data described here. You can reach us at [email protected].

2. What we collect

When you use Vision's account and websites, we handle:

• Account details. Your email address and, if you add it, your name.
• Sign-in sessions. For each device you sign in on: the device name, its platform and when it was last seen. This lets you see and sign out your devices.
• Subscription details. Your subscription status, plan and billing period, and any discounts: coupons, your referral code, and who referred whom.
• Feedback. Messages you send us, and screenshots if you choose to attach them.
• Google Calendar, if you connect it. This is optional. If you connect it, we store a Google refresh token, encrypted, so Vision can show your agenda. You can disconnect anytime.
• Waitlist. If you join the waitlist, we store your email, your rough country (which comes from Cloudflare based on your connection), and which page or link you signed up from.
• Website analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics. It is cookieless and doesn't track you as an individual. We only see overall numbers, like page views.

We don't receive your card details. Payments are handled by Dodo Payments, our Merchant of Record, which collects payment information directly.

3. What stays on your Mac

Your clipboard history, settings and app data are stored locally on your Mac, encrypted. We don't receive them.

Vision's AI features use your own OpenAI, Anthropic or Google Gemini API key, or your Claude Code login. Your keys are stored in the macOS Keychain. Your prompts go directly from your Mac to the provider you choose, not through our servers. That provider's own privacy policy and terms apply to what you send it.

4. How we use your data

• to create your account and sign you in, including sending sign-in codes by email;
• to run your subscription, apply discounts and referrals, and give you access to Pro features;
• to show and manage the devices signed in to your account;
• to read and reply to your feedback and fix problems;
• to show your calendar in Vision, if you connected Google Calendar;
• to send waitlist and launch updates, if you joined the waitlist;
• to keep the Service secure and prevent abuse;
• to understand overall website traffic.

We process your data to provide the Service you signed up for, with your consent (for example, the waitlist or Google Calendar), and for our legitimate interest in keeping the Service secure and working well.

5. Who we share it with

We don't sell your personal data. We share it only with the providers that help us run Vision:

• Dodo Payments, our Merchant of Record, to process payments and handle tax.
• Resend, to send emails such as sign-in codes and waitlist or launch updates.
• Cloudflare, for DNS, content delivery and web analytics.
• Google, only if you connect Google Calendar.
• Our hosting server, where the account database runs.

We may also share data if the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of our users or of Techsolace.

These providers may process data outside your country, including outside India, the EU and the UK. Where the law requires it, we rely on appropriate safeguards for those transfers.

6. Cookies and tracking

We don't use advertising trackers. Our website analytics are cookieless. The account website uses only what it needs to sign you in and keep your account secure.

7. How long we keep it

We keep your account data while your account is open. If you delete your account, we delete your personal data, except anything we must keep by law, for example records related to payments and tax. Waitlist emails are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove them.

8. Security

We protect your data with encryption in transit, encrypted storage for sensitive tokens such as your Google refresh token, and limited access. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your data safe and will tell you if a breach affects you, as the law requires.

9. Your rights

You can ask us to:

• give you a copy of your personal data (access and export);
• correct data that is wrong;
• delete your account and personal data;
• stop sending you waitlist, launch or other marketing emails (unsubscribe).

India. Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the right to access, correct and erase your personal data, to withdraw consent, to have a grievance addressed, and to nominate someone to exercise your rights. Send any grievance to [email protected].

EU and UK. Under the GDPR and UK GDPR, you also have the right to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

10. Children

Vision is not for children under 13, or under 16 where the law in your country requires it. We don't knowingly collect data from them. If you think a child has given us personal data, email [email protected] and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. When we do, we change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If a change is significant, we will also tell you by email or in the app. See also our Terms of Service.
